After spending way too much money on last week’s outfit, I knew this had to be a “from inventory only” post. And the remarkable thing is… I actually did that! Yay me!

That I didn’t have to do any shopping, was actually a good thing, because I wasn’t inworld very much this week anyway. I was enjoying the RL sunny weather!

Electric Indigo

… week 3 of the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge part II!

Usually whenever there is an “electric” color week, it’s time for me to panic. I’m just not a big fan of very bright colors. Electric Indigo however turned out not to be so bad. Not that I had a lot of items to choose from, but I’ve had this outfit ready to go, since part one of the challenge. And since the right kind of purple never came about, I had it easy this week.

Well… the choosing of the outfit was easy. Taking a picture however…

Second Life has been putting black lines on my snapshots for a while (which was already a pain to photoshop), but now it also randomly makes part of my shadows disappear. And that I really can’t convincingly edit. Toning down the resolution and fiddling with the shot helps a bit. But as a whole, taking pictures has become a rather frustrating exercise.

I’ve tried the Firestorm and Exodus viewers, but they give me the same problems. Does anyone have some idea of what I could try next? I’m open to suggestions.

I like Lemon Tea

… and I also like their new Tinsel Tree Dress.

As soon as I saw a picture of Lemon Tea’s offering for the latest edition of Perfect WARdrobe, I knew I had to have it. Just the right amount of Christmas vibe, without being cliché. The dress is a fully rigged mesh that can’t be modified. So to give more fitting options, you also get a no top/rigged skirt and an unrigged modifiable mesh top. It also comes with alpha layers.

The top half of the fully rigged version did not fit me. Not even a little bit. So I tried the rigged skirt/unrigged top option and that fitted me a lot better. It still showed a bit more boob then I liked however, so I paired it with a black shirt. You know, to keep this blog decent

The Tinsel Tree Dress is available in gold, silver, red and green. All colours come with both silver and gold trim.

Bronze

…week 45 of Luna Jubilee’s 52 Weeks of Color Challenge.

As it turns out bronze is not just a metal, it’s also a kind of orangey color. With orange being the national color of my home country, you might think I like the color and have a lot of it in my inventory. But you would be wrong. I don’t like orange at all. The reason for that is how some of my fellow countrymen wear this color, for instance at sporting events or the queen’s birthday:
