Dandelion

… week 9 of the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge part II.

Dandelion

I did not like this week’s color. Not at all. Why, you ask? Because I do not like yellow very much and I absolutely hate dandelions.

Yes, I know they have a very cheerful color and those cute fluffy-looking seedheads. And I might feel like that too, if they didn’t take over my garden! Come spring, they pop up everywhere and if I don’t dig them out really quicky, those cute seedheads will make matters even worse. I swear, our lawn contains more dandelions then grass :(

But anyway, I’ll stop ranting, before I start foaming at the mouth.

  1. So pretty!! I really love those pants♥

  2. The pose combined with your kittyness makes you look like you’d be hissing at dandelions! =^.^=

  3. Rowwwwr. You look awesome!

  4. Yes, Sonya said it perfectly :-P The thing is, you’re so CUTE! And yea, I know I’m supposed to like dandelions cuz they’re so pretty and all, but I have memories of my dad making us pull them out of the lawn all day. Anyway, love the shot!

  5. LOL you dandylion scrooge you!!! But I have to say that you look cute like this, you may be anti dandylions but you look all cute and springtimeish in your choice of outfit!!

  6. Too cute and my garden gets bombarded with dandelions as well. You can eat them apparently … though I’m not tempted.

  7. If you can’t beat them, join them, I say – when we have gardens (we don’t atm) we cultivate them carefully to be wildflower meadows. Then the dandelions have a rightful place and only upset the neighbours *g* Of course during the 60% of the year where the wildflower meadow isn’t actually flowering, that upsets the neighbours too because it looks like you just have a messy lawn. I think in future I will have a patio and plant pots.
